Avantages
We've been using Sortly for our inventory management, and it has been a game changer for our team. One of the biggest pros is the user-friendly website and app, which make it incredibly easy to quickly search for any item in our inventory. While it did take some time to find the best process for managing each individual item, once we got the hang of it, we found the system to be intuitive and efficient. Sortly has truly streamlined our inventory management process and we highly recommend it to others looking for a reliable solution.

The photo quality when saving from the app can be an issue. Sometimes, it crops photos weirdly or blurs the items, which can be a bit frustrating. Despite this, Sortly has truly streamlined our inventory management process, and we highly recommend it to others looking for a reliable solution.

A superb way of monitoring and maintaining your stock levels
My overall experience with Sortly has been very positive. It has made maintaining and monitoring our stock levels a lot easier across all of our sites.
Avantages
The ease in which I can add and delete stock on a daily basis and monitor the stock levels at each of our four sites.
Inconvénients
I find it a long process to work out how much stock has been added and taken away in a month. I would like to be able to check what the stock level was on the 1st of each month and then what they were on the last day of each month without having to run through all of the history or transactions.

A Great Start for Growing Companies

This is an easy to use platform that is fast to implement and adopt with employees that are not used to using inventory management platforms/ERPs. It is limited in financial reporting abilities as it is not a fully fledged ERP, but it makes transitioning to a proper ERP easy.

Difficult to manage inventory purchased at different costs/ perform FIFO.

We would like to implement reminders and alerts for our team to ensure they update daily inventory. Changing quantity amounts for items can take more time than expected. A quick search for the item and a quick amount of edits would be best. We are not able to tie the inventory to our invoicing system.

This has been a great experience for us. Huge upgrade from google sheets. The ability to see pics of items is helpful too

Inconvénients
I would like to be able to click on an item in the category and then see only that item shown. For example if we have 10 colors of an item they all appear in all sizes. It would be nice if i could click on the color code and then only that color would show

Mixed Feelings
What you get is pretty good. The developer relations and support using the API are abysmal, as is the outdated documentation, which is galling in light of the doubling of the enterprise fees.
Avantages
Makes tracking inventory easy. The API is poor if you're looking to build on top of it.

Slow development time, doubled price of enterprise license.

Great Stock management system
[sensitive content hidden] and the team are great. They were super helpful when we set the system up and we use the system daily. Its user friendly and does exactly what we need it to do.

I like how easy it is to use from a team perspective but also from a managerial and reporting perspective.

Bring back tags and notes on phones

The ease of use on both mobile and desktop.

The new update really slows down our workflow. Getting rid of the tags and notes on the mobile view is a huge step backward

Sortly has helped our business by keeping our inventory organized all in one App. It's user friendly and has all the functions that one would need to enter and locate any tools or equipment that we have out in the field. I have enjoyed using this App since day one.

I at this point we have no complaints on how the App is used. It fits our business needs and has brought us a long way from keeping up with things by paper.

Great way to stay organized!
Avantages
I have a wide range of inventory & supplies that used to be "out of sight, out of mind" even thought it was organized. Now I can check to see if I have things before I order, and keep notes on where the items are located so I can easily find them without overordering constantly.
Inconvénients
I wish there was a way you could go back in and add different variants after the fact. Often I will purchase a supply that is one measurement and having to add them all individually and make sure they remain grouped together can be tricky.

Sortly is a great tool for inventory management
We don't use it everyday, but when we do it is very helpful in tracking and maintaining our inventory. I hope to figure out if there is a way to give a link to our partners who sue our equipment so that they can reserve items through the system, they get a response saying the item is pending reservation approval or is unavailable, the system puts the item on hold, then we get a notification that a request has been made to check out an item. I haven't had time to paly around with the system long enough to see if this is even possible.
Avantages
It's easy to use and I like that there is an accompanying phone app.
Inconvénients
I wish it came with a barcode scanner. It would make loading and dispensing items much easier.

Sortly in Dorms
It took a while for the staff to get used to but it has saved us time and money.
Avantages
We have several dorms, several units in the dorms, and dozens of rooms in the units. This helps us locate where the items are kept and the quantity of items we have stored. When an item's moved we're able to record it in real time using the mobile app. It allows us to take photos of items.
Inconvénients
The location feature is not easy to set up. We've had to create tags and it is a very lengthy process.

It has been very good, we use Sortly when performing monthly inventory and daily when we take a product off the shelf or add to the amount.

It organizes our products by item and allows for barcoding/QR coding to quickly adjust inventory levels

Small Business user - Sortly is a great option
Good and for the most part easy. The learning curve to use the product is super easy, it's the less common features they offer that are harder to navigate for me.
Avantages
For the most part, Sortly is an affordable and easy way to manage my small business retail and online inventory. We interface with Wordpress, which took some work to make happen, but overall, we are satisfied.
Inconvénients
Sortly is a bit expensive for us, as we pay around $100+ per month and we are lucky to sell that much online in any given month. There are few options out there for our situation, but Sortly has been a workable option and very easy to learn.

Sortly has been a great addition to keeping an orderly inventory. overall it has been great, and with each new feature added, it's even better.

It is easy to find items with the Search bar, and the And/or has been very important when narrowing down search parameters.
Inconvénients
pricing for each vender isn't in effect yet. It is a lot easier for Companies to be able to price compare when you can assimilate the price for certain items with the vendors and then compare prices across the vendor lists.

When introduced to Sortly I was not sure how this would work with all of the different medications and all of the supplies that we have. Once I got in there and logged all of our inventory it was so easy! The editing, the notifications, just all around flawless!
Avantages
It is perfect with keeping track of the hundreds of meds and supplies that we log!! The notifications are also very helpful! I have a lot going on and the notifications I get when the stock hits the minimum level save me!

Inventory Visibility and Ease of Use
As far as day-to-day transaction management and reporting, Sortly is fantastic. We use this as a visibility tool, not the actual management of the inventory, which at our location is done in Access. We've been able to link the two systems so the transactions reflect in Sortly when done in Access. We have users who do not speak English, and Sortly was easy enough for them to pick it up with minimal down-time and instruction. It is a very intuitive, very easy product to use.
Avantages
Very very intuitive software that takes very little time to bring people up to speed on the every day use. All of the basic features and functions you need to help in Inventory Management and Control are there, as well as the reporting features that you need.
Inconvénients
Could use more customizability in terms of what fields are the primary fields, as well as additional customizability for the formats of the actual labels. Would be great to have additional size options, and ability to add and manipulate the actual layout of labels. As well as having other options for barcode labels.

I have been useing this program for 4 and a half years so far with 2 different companies.
I liked it so well i left one job and started a new job for a diffrent company and brought the system with me and set it up for the new company.

The ease of Setup,Implementation,Customer service is fantastic and knowledgable.
The reports you can run are a life saver as well in my line of work.....

There is nothing i can think of that i dont like about this company or the service they provide 10 out of 10 in my book.

Good for starters
It was awesome it also made it easier for my store to switch to a POS provider with ease and fast. It’s an awesome app for people that are just barely starting out.

We liked everything from being able to keep track of inventory and ones you find the right POS provider you can just import all your items with the barcodes and have it fully set up in just 2 minutes!

With starting with Sortly, I was skeptical that it was gong to be easy to use and implement to my team but I was pleasantly surprised at what it can do for me and our business.

Overall, the product does work, the QR Code feature is nice, constantly re-creating and re-adding inventory is frustrating and effects my data.
Avantages
The scanning feature is nice; QR codes are easy to scan and print. Data is downloadable to Excel files.
Inconvénients
QR code labels are deleted when the quantity reaches zero; these must be recreated and reprinted each time. The basic version does not allow the administrator to prevent users from deleting inventory items. This occurs a lot, which causes me to add the item and amount back and recreate and print the QR code.

We like that it was considerably less expensive that the other inventory programs that we have used and it is somewhat more user friendly.

We have had trouble with the search functions.

Good UX design
I use this app for the sample inventory in my office. My colleagues love this app due to its simplicity and how easy it is to use. I didn't even need to explain how to use it.
Avantages
Simple interface. It is very easy to use and modify the setting.
Inconvénients
The annual subscription cost is high. I could have used an app with less than half the cost.

I love this software, it is easy to install, use and maintain, have lots of features for a small business, and the price, compare to other software alike, it is very affordable.

Solid software package for inventory control and tracking
Avantages
Ease of use: we have a number of users at different levels and across different countries inside the company that need to update and interpret stock levels daily. The simplicity of the platform has enabled us to achieve smooth coordination between the users.

The speed of being able to update stock levels up or down requires multiple clicks

Great Product
It is an easy product to use, it saves me money and time so I can send out shingles I have in stock and not have to order more that I do not need for job sites.

We love Sortly
Over all its been a great system since I have found Sortly. It has helped organize our company for almost 2 years and we intend on continuing with Sortly for the long haul.
Avantages
We love the convenience of Sortly. Being able to track our inventory that is constantly going out and coming in. It saves all of our products including photos for ease of updating. We are able to give accurate costs of what is in our warehouse at any given time.
Inconvénients
We havent been able to implement the barcoding system. I beleive there was an issue integrating with our main management system.
