Highly Recommended

Amazing. We had a few issues with syncing 3rd party items (entirely our fauly for making errors prior to joining this platform). Join IT went out of their way to not only help identify the problem but also recommend a solution. 10/10

Avantages

We love using Join It. Their customer service is amazing and goes beyond what was expected and what ive recieved from any other company.

My organization loved our free trial so much (30 days. ) we have decided to subscribe on an annual basis.

Inconvénients

Obviously as a nonprofit justifying spending money is really hard. While we always would want things to be cheaper for us, the cost also was the lowest we had found for the best platform/features.

Perfect Membership Management Platform for small charity supporting the arts

[sensitive content hidden], my two main contacts at Join It are the loveliest humans. We knew we were going to pick Join It from our first meeting with them. Every other CRM, Ticketing or Membership System I had a meeting with didn't listen to us and talked over us whilst aggressively chasing us for a sale. Join It stood out and didn't try to sell us on features we didn't need.

Avantages

Join It is a really intuitive platform, super easy for our whole team to use, even those who don't regularly need to. For us, key features were the Eventbrite integration, it wasn't the right step for us to have all our ticketing on our own website, Eventbrite has features we love and don't want to get rid of. Then, the customer service, it's prompt, responsive and very accommodating. Our other favourite features are the reporting capabilities and formatting of the membership profiles and the sign up page.Join It is also constantly in development, they are actively always building and evolving the platform.

Inconvénients

We've had a few ways in which we'd like to use the system not quite work out, however, that would be the same with any system that isn't a custom built system for your business. Through emailing Leah, we've always been able to find solutions.

Prepare for poor to no customer support and significant unannounced changes

Terrible. It started off well, until you got your first proven. By that point you are pretty much committed to trying to make it work. Their customer service is slow and unhelpful, and comes across frankly as uninterested. This year they started making changes to their platform that significantly affected its usability and how our clients interacted. They were unwilling to discuss and the answer we got was essentially “sorry that’s how it is”. This week we have a seen more changes that are intrinsically linked to how we do business. We’ve had never parents randomly canceled, we’ve been unable to set up payments to the future with any confidence and more and more collapses in how it functions. Fortunately e had already found an alternate platform and have started migrating new customers to that. Now we are forced to do a full migration which will costs significant staff hours and embarrassment with clients.

Changes to platforms happen I know this but to make major changes without announcement and with a shrug of the shoulders is Damsgaard f for business. The biggest issue we have is their customer service is basically non existent. Do not expect help.

Initial ease of use and clarity of finctions.

A solid choice for Club management

Avantages

Integrations will other apps a small club needs such as Mailchimp, Eventbrite and Quickbooks.Once setup mostly works by itself to track membership payments and renewals

Inconvénients

No API or access to backend in basic edition, there is webhooks in more expensive version.

Very Happy JoinIT User

The key business problems we were trying to resolve in this organisation was to provide a better user experience for people becoming members of the organisation. We wanted a system that was easy to administer and easy for end-users. We also wanted end users to be in control of their own information. Finally, we wanted a system that integrated with other tools that we were using so that we could mix-and-match best-of-breed solutions together. JoinIT provides what we need. We actually implemented JoinIT based on the recommendation of another organisation and we are pleased we did. Implementation and migration were very simple and the people supporting JoinIT are very friendly and helpful.

Avantages

Setting up membership types, the integrations with leading tools, and the ability to accept online processing payments via credit card were all big draws for this software. The software is also incredibly easy to use.

Inconvénients

There are some Quality of Live improvements that could be made to the user experience such as the ability to get an invoice directly from an user's membership record (instead of clicking through to the payment processor's website), the ability to store a document in a membership record (some memberships can require verification of eligibility), and having more freedom/flexibility in payment processors (Stripe is okay, but some more competition is never a bad thing). But none of these are deal-breakers.

The other products weren't really designed to be modular, meaning that we basically had to turn over all aspects of our services to them so it felt like we would be locked in. Also, we were already using best-of-breed solutions out on the marketplace, so we wanted to continue using them and retain control of most of our extended IT infrastructure. Only JoinIT seemed to allow that quickly and easily.

Joinit has rescued of from WildApricot

My organization used Wildapricot before. It made doing all we wanted to do kind of simple, combining website building, emailing, selling tickets, and taking payments in one program. Problem is, it didn't do any of those things very well. Our website felt like it was built on Windows 95, and doing anything was just sort of a pain. Lots of bugs that I had to learn to work around.

I was looking for something that would allow us to offer membership discount and also have an awesome website. I wanted to start selling through eventbrite, so people not in our community could learn about our events. I found JoinIt, which looked better than anything else in my research, and haven't looked back. This company understands the modern world. They integrate with the best technologies. And they excel in service, knowing that's the best way to serve their bottom line. I'm very excited, and anticipate the program will only get better.

Finally a dedicated solution just to manage membership

Overall, we are very satisfied with this product. We have tried several other alternatives that we had to use all sorts of workarounds to achieve our goals. Join It is a streamline membership management solution.

Avantages

My favorite feature of Join It is that it focuses on managing memberships. Many of the other CRM solutions we discovered provide 25 features, but are lacking on member management.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the website is slow and data entry takes a bit too long.

Good Potential Membership APP

Very simple and good if you like minimalistic approach but high price for what you get.

Avantages

I like the simple, minimalist approach. User friendly and really great customer support. Has all the basic features a small organization needs

Inconvénients

Price is somewhat high compared to other full blown apps doing much more than joinit. To upload your members database you will need to submit manually to customer support. All other competing apps I have tried will do this automatically with your mapping input. Does not have webpage features, just very minimal and basic. Financial reports are lacking.

Easy and efficient member management software

Overall JoinIt has alleviated the very tedious tasks of managing a club of this size. We avoid mistakes, can track everything and our members can also self-serve with their information, payments, status etc. It is hard to express how easy member management has become for us since switching to JoinIT. And when we do have questions, the online technical support chat is second to none. They respond in a timely manner and they know their stuff and always polite and pleasant.

Avantages

JoinIt is easy to setup, use and maintain. We have roughly 1500 members and the software has made our management so much easier than the manual way we were doing it before. The technical support with JoinIt is perfect. Not just good.

Inconvénients

A few features we would like to see in the future and not yet implemented.

Avantages

I enjoy the interface of Joinit. It is fairly easy to add, delete, and check on members and their information. It helps that sending emails to members is fairly easy as well.

Inconvénients

What I like the least is that emails to our members are very limited. It seems that the only two options are automated emails and quick/easy emails that have limited capabilities.

Join It Review

The experience has been very good. Join IT has a very fast ramp-up at a reasonable price. There is no pressure, with can not be said about all app in the membership space. Some apps wanted $1,500.00 just to import your data. Join It is so easy you can do it yourself.

Avantages

Join It is very simple to set up and use. Much is easier than other membership software I tested. We were in action in two days.

Inconvénients

The membership categories are easy to use, but graphically they are quite different. More expensive membership apps can provide a single widget that allows new members to select different levels, price and billing options. Join IT provides a menu where you select the level you want, select and start entering the information. We have 22 different levels, the list gets long and would work better with a widget that offers all the options.

Making things easier

So far its been great. The support team is fast and responsive and really attentive to all the issues I have brought up or speed bumps I have had, weather my own or on the system end.

Avantages

The ease of managing members and its simple integration into multiple other applications makes a lot of the daily work easier. There was a slight worry to the learning curve for members but for the most part it has been ok during our rollout. Payment integration has been amazing. and integrations with MailChimp and slack have taken many steps out of the process for me.

Inconvénients

I feel there are a few features that I would have liked to see a bit more intuitive or better integrated. I would like the ability to edit our membership page a bit more stylistically. The way membership renewals happens gets a bit confusing which has cause double memberships showing or a few manual adjustments to member levels. I feel if a membership is annual, then all the options should be available at once instead of having to do multiple clicks.

Using Join It to Manage Memberships in Nonprofit Organization

Overall, we are very pleased with our Join It experience.

Avantages

The membership renewal feature (automatic emails) is very effective and saves time.
The merge memberships feature is very useful!

Inconvénients

Inputting offline payments (e.g., from checks or cash) took a bit of time (and trial and error) to understand. But after we entered several and corrected some of our mistakes, we understood how all of the fields worked, and it made sense.

JoinIt Worth Every Penny

Excellent. There's really no other word for it.

Avantages

JoinIt made it very easy to establish membership levels and then change them as needed. As a new organization we knew we wanted to make an introductory offer to our legacy mailing list, but we weren't sure what the second phase would look like when we opened up to the public. Once we decided we were able to immediately implement the program with incredible ease.

Inconvénients

It's hard to find a knock against this platform. As the executive director of our organization I'm pretty busy with work in a number of areas and needed something we could rely on which was also intuitive and user-friendly. JoinIt provided all the bells and whistles we needed right away, and right at our fingertips.

Join It has a good software, and has the most quality support I ever experienced!

Avantages

We value our time and Join It provides us the ability to be efficient. Easy interface. The support team have excellent people that understand the situation and always provides pertinent advices!

Inconvénients

The way information is presented is always a subjective matter, so even if I would say I would like the organization of the interface to be changed, it would maybe not be the preferred choice for everyone.

All in one!

It's just excellent!

Avantages

It is simply an excellent administrative assistant that contains all the necessary components to help keep an organization afloat.

Inconvénients

We still do not have the certainty of knowing if the connection between this system and our bank account is effective and without having details. We have yet to see how effective this system is to manage the accounting of our activities and the memberships of our participants.

So easy to use, flexible to set up and the integrations work well

There really isn't anything bad you can say about this product. I did a fair bit of research and am glad I landed on this. All you need to do is change some of the "Americanisms" in the template emails etc but apart from that, this is ready to go for even the smallest databases. In fact we started with zero and are now in a health four figure range thanks to the way this works. Obviously this comes highly recommended.

Most intuitive membership platform on the market

Avantages

Incredibly easy to use and set-up, with a friendly and fast support team too for bouncing questions off of. The membership database is super customizable, which is perfect for our needs as a museum. We can export data using tons of filter options, like specific membership types or date ranges of join/expiration. Also amazing integration with Eventbrite! This offers us a way to provide discounted and free tickets to members, offer different perks amount different membership levels, and track all of their discount usage in one place, while creating a seamless and simple experience for the member when checking out on Eventbrite.

Inconvénients

No gift membership option, which we would LOVE to see added in the future. Also would like to see the digital membership cards be expanded to be able to include multiple logos, such as logos of other institutions we have partnerships or reciprocity with, as well as a space for text on the back of the card to provide hours, contact information and our current exhibitions like Cuseum offers.

Perfect Membership Management Software for Novices and Experts Alike

We were exploring various membership management software systems and Join It met all of our needs at a price that was reasonable. The site was easy to become familiar with and was laid out in a clean and visually streamlined manner. There are enough options to customize things but not so many that it is overwhelming for people who do not have experience with membership management systems. I highly recommend this for all types of companies, whether you are a non-profit or a for-profit business.

Join It is very good, basic membership software

My overall experience with this software is very positive. I feel like when I have some task to accomplish, it takes me a reasonable amount of time. I don't think I've ever got completely stuck on a problem. And the support is high-quality.

Avantages

Coming in with no knowledge of the software, I feel like I learned my way around very quickly. It seems to do everything my smallish organization needs it to do. The customer support is very friendly and fast.

Inconvénients

Like any software, there are some labyrinthine paths to getting certain tasks done.

Awesome membership integration for Eventbrite

Makes my life easier by recurring charges to customers adding discount codes and making it easy to do so.

Avantages

It takes out the double work of adding discount codes to all of my events when a person subscribes to multiple events. Perfect for someone who hosts multiple events where a season subscriber is paying a recurring membership fee outside of eventbrite and needs access to multiple shows.

Inconvénients

There are some potential options that seem very close to happening. Like an integration to analyze how many times a customer is using the code? Customer activity.

An online Membership database replaces an internal standalone one

I have no comments.

Avantages

Join It online is really amazing and has a proper size; it's not huge and easy to try! It is comfortable to use instead of my internal old database at office. I'm trying to test it more than two months. Its so different between the old and this one! I would love to support you with any ideas. I hope you will develop and enhance the system even more. Its good that there are Arabic and English fonts.

Of course thank you very much for supporting non-profits organization :-)

Inconvénients

1. JOD currency is not available, I wish to add it as an option in order to support the processing of membership due in different currencies in the world. Because we are in Jordan and working at RSCN since 1966, and we are required to offer our membership online.

2. There is no an interface to allow us to design and edit the pages. we hope to develop it with your help.

Wonderful Product, Exactly What We Have Been Looking For

Jumped OUT of DonorPerfect. It was complicated and did more than we needed. Join It meets our needs exactly and offers wonderful integrations for future growth and use.

Avantages

This is the most user friendly membership management program I have ever seen.

Inconvénients

Nothing thus far. Everything seems to be user friendly.

Non Profit Membership fundraising

Avantages

we were looking for product that we can fundraise for our non-profit with a membership based donation! it does exactly what we need, emails, digital cards, create a membership base.

Inconvénients

we are working on it as we speak, all good so far, customer service [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was wonderful and there for the help as needed :) and very courteous! 5 stars

After evaluating many other solutions, we're happy with the simplicity and functionality of...

Helped me track my members and automate processes (like sending expiration notices and renewal reminders)

Avantages

We appreciate Join It for it's ease-of-user and intuitive user interface. Also, because we're only a medium-sized non-profit we like how affordable their options are.

Inconvénients

Currently, Join It doesn't provide a Content Management Solution as a part of their service, so we have to use WordPress instead.
