Best Social Media platform for employees
My overall experience has been really awesome with workvivo and I have been using it for very long. We share pictures individually and as a team, create quiz and contest and get participation from so many employees. It's a wonderful platform
Avantages
The best things I like about Workvivo are:1. Users can add pictures and videos and participate in different activities and communicate services.2. The platform can be used as a uniform communication tool and management can share important updates through Workvivo3. It's also a great software for peer recognition and sharing the success journey
Inconvénients
Few areas I would recommended Workvivo to improve on:1. Their notifications cannot be personalized and we get pop ups for so many irrelevant posts which is not very admirable 2. We often notice glitch while playing videos of high quality and it freezes sometimes. This happens mostly in mobile application, the website works just fine3. The interface design is not very user friendly and can get difficult for new users

Feedback about the Tool
Overall, the tools is good and it gives the basic features needed for the engagement and communication tool. It replaced our emails and other communication tools inside the company. However, there are many areas for improvement in the tool.
Avantages
The badges and spaces are the best two features in the Tool
Inconvénients
I think the tool still need many additional features for example:
1. The tagging is not always working
2. The images are not fit inside the post clearly. so the images are cropped.
3. More statistics about people who earn the Badges (Who is the most one got Badges, what are the most common badges...etc.).

Workvivo Brings Fun and Simplicity to Staying Connected at Work
In general, I have had really good experience with Workvivo. It is quite useful in ensuring that everyone in the company stays connected especially if you have telecommuting or blended working teams.
The platform is very simple, and having a social media-style layout helps to get up and running in no time. I do like it for peer incentives—it is good to see colleagues encouraging each other and sharing victories. The analytics are also a big plus because it shows how engaged your team is and what content type is best with it.
The only downside is that it can get a little confusing at times and that might be due to the fact that a lot of people are using it for work and they’re in a lot of teams or projects. But all in all it is a good platform that really does a lot to unite people.
Avantages
I think that Workvivo is a great tool for making sure everyone within a company can connect and can stay engaged. I really liked the ease of use that is provided with this software. The application has a social media interface which makes it engaging and recognizable, just with focus on work-related tasks.
It’s well suited for posting company updates, announcing team triumphs, and even rewarding colleagues with ‘shout-outs’. Instead of clogging your news feed with updates of everything that is happening around you, the activity feed allows you to stay updated only with the things that interest you.
Also, the live-streaming function is great for major company announcements; you get the feeling of being in the thick of things even if you’re telecommuting.
Another major victory concerns the analytics. I find it incredibly useful to see how active people are and what type of content gets the most attention. Workvivo also connects with apps such as Slack, Zoom and Microsoft teams so you don’t have to jump between apps. It’s like having all the ingredients in one place that you would need for a recipe.
Inconvénients
The things that Workvivo is great but has a few things to work on. For instance, they’re a little restricted when it comes to customization. The layout and design is something you can’t exactly tweak all that much, and that can make it feel a bit generic for some companies.
It also gets overwhelming if you are part of several teams or projects since the notification system gets really crowded. When you get a lot of alerts, it’s tough to ignore the alerts that don’t matter to you.
For example, the desktop version is a little faster than the mobile app when loading large files or videos. It’s not a deal breaker, but if you’re on the go regularly it can be a bit of a hassle.

Fantastic Impact
The overall experience with Workvivo has been really good. The product itself is great and constantly developing and improving. The aftersales customer support is excellent. I have a monthly Teams call where all new features and improvements are highlighted and advice is given about how we could improve our engagement.
Avantages
We have had a great reception for this platform. We needed something to help unite our teams and branches and have managed this through features and events. The fact that it is so easily recognisable in its user interface as so similar to LinkedIn and Facebook, meant that half the training is already done when we were rolling it out.
This is a great 'real-time' system for rolling out all our business updates and now staff report that they feel really informed about what is going on in the firm.
Inconvénients
Overall, when purchasing, I would have liked this to have been part of a fuller employee engagement platform which included wellbeing and a discount scheme however I was aware this wasnt there when I decided on this one as the communication side was so good and this was our primary focus.
In terms of what I'd like to see improved, I would like to see the text formatting be the same as any other software e.g. office. At the moment it is very basic and clunky and most formatting options are not available.
I would also like the document upload ability to be available to more than just the system administrators given we use this as out intranet. It would be good if it was one of the security profiles which we could give to certain people who should be responsible for this in the firm, but can't be as the software won't allow it.

Workvivo Feedback
The Workvivo platform continues to exceed our expectations with helping our colleagues "reconnect" given the times we now live in given we are all very much remote and working from home. We continue to see different Regional Communities launch as part of the Future of Work.
Awareness around our many PODs in VMware is another which has seen huge growth and adoption within VMware. Campaigns focusing on our VMware Foundation, Pride, BLM and many more have formed a great sense of community within the platform and continue to create real life, organic conversations amongst our colleagues. Our annual VMworld conference had a dedicated space in the platform which saw huge engagement where lots of great conversations, feedback and competitions were run within.
Several BUs including our HR team have made Workvivo their primary communications platform and teams are continuing to create relationships, learn from each other and share team news.
Avantages
Where do I begin?! From the sleek new UI, to the New Search Experience, threaded comments and the email digest options there are so many great features along with the many great integrations we have in place (Workday, Slack, Azure AD and much more). The ease of use was pivotal in our decision making when choosing Workvivo also. Navigation around the platform so freely and easily really makes for a delightful experience when connecting with colleagues, sharing content and ideas and just keeping the conversations fresh and organic!
Inconvénients
Mobile Parity with the Desktop experience would be great to see. Although working remotely now, we will be "on the move" again at some stage in the future and replicating the experience on mobile is pivotal.

The digital board that keeps the flow of knowledge and updates going
Workvivo has become the digital wall board that accompanies us always, we find everything about the latest updates and share knowledge that ensures a controlled and transparent workflow that is compatible with company policies.
Avantages
Workvivo creates a complete understanding of the relationships between departments, keeps the flow of information about the latest developments or updates. With it, we can publish presentations to explain any new concepts, and we make sure that they reach everyone immediately. I liked that we can highlight new decisions and circulate new instructions in an organized manner. Direct communication is guaranteed with Workvivo, which enhances the continuity of advice, discussing ideas, and collecting feedback on them transparently.
Inconvénients
There are no negatives with Workvivo, it is amazing and enables us to maintain the continuity of updates and broadcast messages and dashboards in real time.

A social-media like platform for the professional work setting
Workvivo's engagement team was knowledgeable about their product and about the needs of our industry. They were pleasant to work with overall.
Avantages
Easy to use, easy to learn and easy to access. The capabilities on Workvivo are robust and can be accessed via mobile apps as well as PC/MAC. The user interface is very straightforward and intuitive. Our users have given mostly positive feedback on the social-media like capabilities that allowed them to be engaged with our leadership team as well as peers.
Inconvénients
Lacks the customization we wanted for our use cases. While the software is still getting better, when we adopted it, we could not do everything we wanted. Some capabilities were not granular enough to meet our needs.

Great Communications Tool
We were mostly solving our communication issues. We have found Workvivo to be a great tool for sharing updates and driving employee engagement as well through competitions and surveys etc.
Avantages
The ability to communicate to all employee groups, regardless of whether they have a company device or not is fantastic. The wide range of communication styles available is great too; whether it's video content, a news article or a shout-out, there is an option for each occasion.
Inconvénients
It would be good to have a filter for bad language. The use of bad language has never been an issue for us but it would give peace of mind to have it. It would also be nice to be able to group podcasts by topic or category.

Excellent Tool!
Avantages
We at Spearline know that effective communication is a vital tool for any business and even more so during these unprecedented times which is what made our decision to work with Workvivo an easy one! We were interested in Workvivo prior to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, but when COVID19 forced us to close our offices and work from home, we felt it was the perfect time to introduce Workvivo to our team and keep the communication and morale high.
Since we have integrated Workvivo into our communication network, we have seen a boost in employee interaction and positivity within the company. Employees are regularly posting and sharing while working from home, in turn allowing them to still have the workplace mentality they would if they were in the office. Having an app available on your mobile device makes it more accessible to post, like and share with other colleagues. The fact that the "app launcher" is integrated with most of our other applications makes it even easier to do things like book some time off, update a document or sheet etc or even check on how your performance is progressing. Spaces is also a great tool available where everyone can join a club depending on their likes and interests, Spearline greatly encourages employee engagement and I'm happy to report that so far Workvivo is proving extremely successful to us all!
Inconvénients
Hand on heart, there isn't anything that I could point out that I don't like about Workvivo. It has even allowed us to free up our inboxes by using Workvivo for announcements instead of emails - all positives!

Great platform, Rich Features and a Fantastic Customer Experience
The Workvivo team are a dream to work with, best customer expereince and support i've ever experience. Also, it's great how they are always updating existing features or adding new ones. It's really made keeping people informed and engaged so simple and enjoyable and made my job and life easier to boot.
Implementation was fun, smooth and uncomplicated. We received a lot of support from the team who were always available to answer our questions and assit where needed
Avantages
The bi-directional communicaiton, how intuitive, fun and easy to use it is. It's helped us engage employees in different locations that feel removed from Head Quarters and of course has been a great help during COVID where the majority of us were working remotely.
The Culture Alignment Feature is a God send as we transform our culture. It was the feature that decided us on Workvivo. Or at least it being there along with Communicaiton and Engagement. None of the other products we reviewed could deliver on all 3 and that was cirtical for us.
It's also been a life-saver with internal communicaitons making them fun and engaging and accessible. So far we've seen significant improvement in employee engagement in a short period of time.
Inconvénients
There really isn't anything to dislike. They developed the Arabic Language compatability significantly for us bit it still needs some work aesthetically but otherwise they did a great job in a short period of time on it.
The Survey feature could also use a bit of work to take them to the next level

Nordell Limited Review of Workvivo
We love it! It has opened up communication and we now very transparent business communication with all employees which is key to ensure we live the company values every day.
Avantages
Workvivo is a brilliant business tool that allows all employees to share business and social information via the Workvivo platform. It integrates seamlessly with other business systems. It has really helped to improve our communication and helps all employees live the company values which are a great feature of Workvivo. Simple, and easy to use!
Inconvénients
Integration and installation was really easy. Workvivo do most of the work for you, but of course you will need to provide content plus employee information to get the team set up! There really isn't much I don't like about Workvivo. They are still a young company and are very open to feedback to improve. The odd feature still needs some work such as the ability to internally administrate the Organisational chart which is visible on Desktops, but this is in development with Workvivo.

Worth every penny - Great product
Fantastic Tool! Would highly recommend to any business, it has been particularly useful as we now work as a remote business and helps keep our teams connected and provides a great easy to use platform for any business updates
Avantages
Since its launch in 2019, this platform has played a key role in Internal Team comms and recognition. During the course of this global pandemic, Workvivo has played a vital role in keeping our team connected, providing us with a great platform to recognise team members and all the great work that is being done. It is easy to use and allows me as an Admin user to track team engagement. Its a fantastic tool and resource and will play a key role in our People Plan for 2021
Inconvénients
My only piece of feedback is I would like to see the option to edit a comment and tag people in the edited comment. Any upgrades or new features over the last 12months have been great and have addressed anything that would have been an issue for us.

I believe, one big benefit, is that once the management make an announcement , all staff know at the same time.
It is a great tool. I personally believe it is the best thing our company, implemented, in the way of communicating .
Avantages
What I like most about, is, how easy it is to use and how easy it is to like a comment and to send a post or shoutout to staff and colleagues.
It is a great way of communicating with colleagues and management.
It is a great to colleagues of charity/sporting/social events happening in your area.
For example, the most recent one is : last week our HR team launched our Walk for Wishes in aid of our Charity Partners : (Make A Wish Foundation) where colleagues were asked to walk/run/jog or cycle 30Km to raise monies. A lot of people took to Workvivo to say they were interested in participating but more so to post pictures and comments of what they had done or intended doing.
Inconvénients
Nothing. I cannot find a fault with it. You can get the handling of it very quick. Once you use it once or twice it is very easy to use.

Easy clean and intuitive Intranet!
Love using it, Could not be easier and GUI is so nice.
Avantages
I like the overall feel to Workvivo, It is extremely easy to navigate and get what I need in a couple of clicks. It feels like a positive message regardless due to the feel of the app.
Inconvénients
Would be nice to have a news ticker on main screen to try to engage some of my team members that do not buy into the app.

Love everything about workvivo
Easier to maintain contact with staff now we are all working from home.
It is good to stay connected with staff on what is happening in diff business groups.
Communication and engagement tool to help drive social initiatives happening e..g pictures from events etc.
Avantages
The product is very easy to use on a day to day basis. Workvivo is intuitive and therefore the use can easily navigate and move around the tool. 10/10 for customer support. The account manager we have is always very responsive. The entire deployment , and set up was very easy. We recently startyed using the podcast featuer and got a good response. The article feature is good to drive information.
Inconvénients
not really, cant complain. Workvivo has been seamless since we began our relationship

Great Product
Really positive, first time I have used the product compared to other intranet and this is great.
Avantages
Really easy to use and post. Scheduling posts is really great also and brings a sense of community.

I think the photo upload feature could be made a little easier and add in some emoji's.

It has been a great addition to work as everyone is kept fully informed of developments and keeps all offices linked

It is so easy to keep in touch with others in your organisation especially with remote/hybrid working and makes you feel part of the team.

Very positive, can do approach - extremely responsive to questions, and issues (from our side) and supportive. in providing materials and suggestions to us, on how best to launch, gain best engagement, and ongoing traction in Workvivo.
An important and high profile project for UBC to support all of our employees, and business functions, our new communications and engagement platform - will support us to continue to facilitate our transformation programme, and build a closer UBC community across all functional areas, and employee locations. Pinergy gets Workvivo
Avantages
I guess the key benefit is that the solution comes 'out of the box' and is ready to implement very quickly. We got great support and advice from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and her team. Staff engagement is really important when we are all working remotely and keeping the office 'craic' was one of our big objectives. We are doing this by creating competitions, fundraisers and the like.
Inconvénients
Overall it is a really great solution, the one area that could be improved is the App - where the functionality is a little less than desktop but I understand that is being addressed.

Intuitive, non-intrusive, and a nice aside from normal corporate communication.
It's a really good tool for what was an already informal company, giving us a single platform on which we can share ideas or opinions while still striking the right balance of formal v informal.
Avantages
I love that it still feels like a personal social media account, but there are structures in place that keep it professional. It's a whole other aspect to our company now, and the intuitive nature of the platform means you immediately know the tone required in what you post.
Inconvénients
Some of the other tools (polls, articles, groups) could be more obvious to navigate to, but once you get the hang of it it's fine.
