Avantages
Easy to set up templates that can be adjusted by need. Keeps consistency within email comms.
Inconvénients
Affectionately known as “Adestra jail” it can do funny things with contacts and add them to unsubscribe lists without reason.

A Great Solution
Overall, very positive, the team on the Adestra side was always very helpful especially when working on integrations. The system itself was very easy to use where a lot of things were automated.
Avantages
We used Adestra for many years which provided a streamline automated marketing process which really helped our internal teams. Within that, it quickly and easily provided stats across campaigns and projects. Overall a very helpful solution with great automated capabilities with a helpful support team.
Inconvénients
Overall, i would say it's ability to change things, if it isn't correct first time, having it changed and flow correctly can be tricky as well as offboarding processes, there was zero support when we moved which did tarnish the relationship but overall, very good.

Adestra — Queen of E-mail Marketing Software
Overall I have been very happy with my experience on Adestra. Thanks to the intuitiveness of the software I have been able to grasp how to use it quickly and am encouraged to try new features. I mostly feel confident that the chat assistants will always be able to solve my problem and help me always with a good and polite attitude.
Avantages
I really like the templates and the ability to quickly put together a slick looking e-mail. The interface is pretty simple to use and it doesn't take long to get to grips with the features. I like the fact that pretty much instantly you have access to help from polite assistants who eagerly take you through all the processes you are querying.
Inconvénients
When searching for pictures there is no search bar. When I asked about the bolt-on feature 'automation' the chat assistants seemed quite reluctant to help and each time passed me onto the instructions which were quite daunting to me when I was brand new to the feature. Although this may be the template I am using, I find it quite difficult to alter the size of the picture - the options are quite rigid. The HTML editor email template is very difficult to use with many bugs.

Adestra for Charity emails
I have enjoyed working with Adestra for a number of years, the system is easy to use and has many features that make life simple when trying to get quick analytics.
Avantages
Its very easy to use and a user friendly interface, everything you need is available within a couple of clicks and it is feature packed. It is easy to see responses to emails, bounce rates, opens etc. It is possible to create multiple core data bases with different key fields as the standard email address is not always the best option especially when trying to run transactional campaigns.
Inconvénients
The main criticism which I have also noticed in other email providers is that it can be quite slow at times, this may be an impact of VPNs and corporate networks however it can feel a little slow to load things along side most of its competitors

Highly Functional but not User Friendly
My overall experience with Adestra has been so/so. Because we are a company that deals with extreme large sets of data, I have seen the sophisticated things they can do that standard email marketing companies cannot. On the other hand, I have noticed that they do not offer a lot of the standard options that the other companies do not. I would only recommend Adestra to those that have very complicated things they are trying to do with their data/email and not someone looking for a user-friendly, standard email marketing tool.
Avantages
Adestra is great for email needs that are highly technical and sophisticated. They have resources available to manufacture customized processes specific to your needs. This is really useful for companies working with extremely large data sets coming from many different sources. Since they are a smaller company compared to some of the big name email marketing companies out there, they can also dedicate personal reps to each account. We have the personal emails/phone numbers of a couple email reps that we can reach out to at anytime and can expect to get a response from within a couple hours.
Inconvénients
What I don't like too much about Adestra is that because it is so sophisticated, it is not very user friendly for the average person trying to do simple email marketing tasks. First off, it does not come with a simple template editor, the Adestra team creates templates for you based on what you tell them you want, and then you use those ones over and over. Secondly, the interface can be quite confusing for someone who is not already extremely comfortable with email marketing. It has been very difficult to train our employees to use it. Lastly, there are a lot of features that Adestra charges extra for, that tend to come complimentary with other email marketing softwares, such as automated reporting.

If you are looking to take your email marketing to the next level I would thoroughly recommend Adestra.
Avantages
- Adestra is right to pride itself on it's customer service. The team are always helpful, keen to work with us to advance our email strategy and will do whatever they can to ensure the platform meets our requirements
- The new email editor has transformed our email marketing and saved us huge amounts of time
- Adestra partners with lots of other companies, meaning that the limits of what you can do in your email marketing is really only restricted by your own creativity (or budget!). If they do not have a feature that meets your requirements you can be sure that they are partnered with someone who does!
- Adestra is always exploring ways to improve the features of the platform allowing us to stay up to date with modern email trends
- The automation programme builder is invaluable, allowing us to really tailor and personalise the journey for each of our customers in an efficient way - it's so good that this year we won the 'Best use of technology for marketing an event' at Event Tech Live for campaigns built using the APB!
Inconvénients
As with any technology platform there are a few little niggles and quirks but once you have an understanding of the platform it is incredibly user-friendly.

Making the switch to Adestra has opened up so many new opportunities for us. It’s alowed us to grow our clients businesses as well as our own l.
Avantages
Adestra gives us fine grain control over every aspect of our email marketing. Their customer service is second to none, there has never been an issue that they couldn’t deal with!
Inconvénients
The UI was a little out dated when we first signed up - they’ve updated this now with a refreshing new approach.

A easy to use system with good features
Adestra is beneficial in how fast and easy it is to use. You can easily create templates and campaigns and send them out. The reporting features and 'saved reports' option are also very beneficial as they save time and allow us to provide a wide range of statistics for clients.

Strong email platform if you are using your own HTML
It suits our needs quite well, we build all our emails ourselves so don't have to use the builder, you can also create your own drag and drop templates with some additional HTML which is a nice feature.
Avantages
I like the conditional code you can use in your HTML to show content based on custom field values.
Inconvénients
Interface can be a bit slow and clunky, it could be easier to jump around to key areas that you use most often.

Overall, I would say my experience with Adestra is good, staff is nice and some issue do get solved.
Avantages
I like the ease of use, customer service is quick and responsive.
Inconvénients
It's not as flexible there is option to code some section of the newsletter yourself . Staff are at different skill level and may not transfer your issue to more experienced staff members. There are some missing features like an image search function, alter code yourself, getting rid of some elements, etc...

Top quality product and 1st class support
Through the APB, as well as, our own bespoke integrations using the Adestra API we have enabled clients to realise targeted 1st person marketing, taking them through nurture programmes and enabling our clients to provide their customer with relevant marketing. I really think that their USP is their customer support. When we don't want to bother our account manager with simple queries, we tend to get exceptionally quick support from the chat option from within the admin interface.
Avantages
We have partnered up with Adestra for many a year and recommend that our on-boarded clients use Adestra for their ESP requirements. We find the integration into our CRM is seamless and that the data that we need out, is also easy to pull. The Automated Programme Builder (APB) is an invaluable tool.
Inconvénients
None to note of really. We feel that we would have the relevant channels to communicate any issues.

Adestra Speaks Our Language!
We are a small marketing agency and had previous bad experiences with email software companies who had baffled us with terminologies and always wanted to charge for everything. Adestra are so different, always on hand to help through their friendly customer support team and explaining in plain English how to fix a problem or improve our emails. We have a dedicated account manager who understands our business and our capabilities, she regularly sends us updates with relevant information on enhancements to the software or market information that might be useful to us or our clients. 10 out of 10 from us!
Avantages
The layout of the platform is easy to understand and after a short period of use it is easy to navigate, they are always improving it with handy add-ons. Our clients are very happy with the detailed reporting that Adestra provides and their overall service has helped us grow our online communications cost-effectively.

Feature-Rich, could be more user-friendly
Adestra allows us to schedule and manage a robust email strategy to over 1 million subscribers. We like the segmenting and trigger abilities and have received good support in setting up templates. This software is more self-serve, however, than other programs where a technical consultant would actually set up campaigns for you. They're willing to teach you how to do complicated triggers, but it's on you to actually execute. After transitioning from another ESP, we have found this to be of better value but only because we're mostly self-sufficient in coming up with and executing campaigns.
Avantages
The ability to visually map out triggers or filters makes the ability to target a campaign to an exact audience terrific. I also really appreciate the ability to schedule another send to non-openers before the first email is even sent.
Inconvénients
The filtering process at times seems cumbersome and the inability to mass-upload updates to profiles sometimes makes it hard to add important details about your users.

The company has changed quite a bit
It's a great tool for email, but doesn't have all the features that some of the other email platforms include. However, it is very easy to use so it can be a great value depending on what you need.

The software is very easy to use and has lots of features that allow users to tailor messages to individual recipients and analyze campaign results. Until recently support has been amazing.
Inconvénients
Using data exactly how you want can be a challenge. Plus, support isn't what it used to be. Since the company was acquired, it seems to be understaffed on the support side.

Adestra makes it so easy to run my email marketing campaigns
Overall, a very positive experience. We don't need any fancy features, Adestra does exactly what we need, and it does it really, really well.
Avantages
The interface is very intuitive, with the list and email creation processes feeling very straightforward. The analytics of each campaign are incredibly eacy to access and run reports on. Data is also really easy to upload and integrate.
Inconvénients
The creation of templates isn't the easiest thing to do initially. Once it's in place everything is smooth sailing though.

I love using Adestra
Avantages
I love using this app because it makes email marketing automation easy for me as a new startup company in book publishing. I have started using it as a free trial and I am really impressed with the way that the company has email automation set up and it makes it easy for me to grow my business.
Inconvénients
I don't really know how much the pricing of the software is after the free trial so I am not sure if that is a con but I need to find out and I haven't seen the price range on the software as of yet. But I do recommend using this program for email automation.
