Used as an Ops Manager, so I leaned on the reporting and tracking facilities more than day to day customer management. Whilst the interface was occasionally clunky, it's reporting features made up for that.

A game-changer for nonprofit fundraising!
I have had a wholly positive experience with Salesforce. It has streamlined my workflow as a nonprofit fundraiser by helping to organize and keep track of many different streams of information. I’m not sure how we managed without it.
Avantages
The robust capacity for organizing information is unmatched. It is possible to segment lists, track performance for many projects simultaneously, save specific individual information for people and institutions…the list goes on and on.
Inconvénients
There is a learning curve. It takes time and ideally some guidance from an expert to help get someone on-boarded and fluent with the Salesforce platform. I’ve used it for years and still feel I am only utilizing about 50% of its capacity.

Salesforce -- number 1 tool I use every day as a GTM Ops Leader!
I have overall had a great experience with Salesforce. The only other similar tool I've used in the past is Infusionsoft and Salesforce is LEAGUES better! I could never go back.
Avantages
I can honestly say that I would not be able to do my job as a Director of GTM Operations without Salesforce. I like that I am easily able to track note from customer calls and use templates to make that even more streamlined. I use reporting functionality extensively and find that ability to clone reports (or save as a copy) to be something that saves be hours each week. I'm able to easily use a report I already have to deliver on what my leaders are requesting or need (often with a short turnaround). I like that I'm able to easily export data from salesforce to a spreadsheet where I can further manipulate it as needed. This is something that I find myself doing on a regular basis.
Inconvénients
I have found the login process to be annoying and would prefer that I could us multifactor authentication in a manner without needing my phone. I prefer to not work with my phone near me so needing to authenticate sometimes multiple times per day is frustrating. As certain fields have been removed from Salesforce, I've noticed there is lack of ability to check dependencies prior to someone hiding a field.

One thing I don’t like about Salesforce Sales Cloud is that it can feel a bit overloaded at times. There are so many features and options available that it’s easy to get lost or spend too much time figuring things out which is frustrating

My best sidekick!
The design of the product that enables the team to gather all the customer's data in one place makes it one of a kind. Created and managed lots of marketing campaings with Salesforce as well.
Avantages
I cannot think of a day without Salesforce Sales attached next to me as it is my greatest helper! By Salesforce we managed to build such relationships and managed to grow revenue and cannot think of other product. The activity management is such a professional way to maximise productivity. Clients also use Salesforce and it makes effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
Inconvénients
Some customer interactions may fail if they are not using the same version of the product. It constantly asks for updates to the latest version otherwise some features may not work properly. Customer service needs to action as soon as possible with any queries.

Complex but Comprehensive Sales Enablement tool
I was in marketing team but we were using the Sales cloud data to generate reports on MQLs and SQLs, overall it was ok, importing and exporting data was not tough but somethings got tricky due GDPR at that time like 4-5 year back.
Avantages
I was actually supporting the sales team in using the tool more efficienctly. Lead tracking and scoring system was good as it help to priortise the leads. Easy Integrations with other tool was also a nice thing with salescloud.
Inconvénients
The intial set up and customisations were very complex abd alsoonfiguring it to match specific business processes can be time-consuming and sometimes requires a steep learning curve.

The ability to have a solid sales management strategy is really recommended; Salesforce offers us a wide range of features and functionality that help us streamline processes, improve efficiency and improve customer relationships.
Avantages
The online community and personalization features of Salesforce's Sales Cloud are exceptional. I was okay with creating an account and tailoring it to my specific needs with the help of the excellent support staff. I may discover several accessible tutorials and demos to help you learn the software. The ability to search by a variety of criteria (email address, name, phone number, etc.) is a significant plus. Internally, we rely on Salesforce for effective sales tracking, marketing campaign management, task tracking, and calendar administration. Our outreach staff are tasked with making initial contact with a defined population and bringing them in for scheduled appointments. Both the service and attendance sections will benefit from this.
Inconvénients
Internal communication possibilities are limited and should be expanded. The CRM control panel also requires a safety assessment before an external user may be added. If you want to boost sales, you need to lower prices.

SalesForce is one of those complete solutions. At first you are carefull when changing CRM but when you find the full swing of it. You won’t ever change back!
Inconvénients
It is big and it can overwhelm. Make sure you ate it up after your company’s needs from the start. You will love it and so will your internal customer.

Avantages
I like the Salesforce UI and I find it easy to navigate between functions. We use Salesforce to manage all of our booked business and I find it very easy to locate contracts and make changes.
Inconvénients
I think there are certain functions that Salesforce overcomplicates/makes tedious. For example, making many upweights/downweights to booked business can be very complicated and these changes are not recorded in a clear manor.

Salesforce could be better for the money
Fair. It cost too much to have to get it fixed all the time and have to always buy more products

Storage. We work off of many salesforce products.

Always has issues. For our industry we are always having to buy more products to make it work.

Great Product with lots of uses

It is always the same for many business types.

The UI isn't friendly at all, not intuitive. Hard to use if you don't remember step by step tutorial.
