Convene has easy setup process and well developed features for organizing online meeting. It give me an opportunity to engage with our customers through the online portal. The pricing is good and secure online networking system that cannot be compromised by cyber attacks.

Inconvénients

It has great and powerful features that have enhanced successful implementation of most meetings.

I liked it exclusively of the quality that the application provided me with my flames.

There was nothing I didn't like, I replaced because the performance was better than which we used

Everything for our Board of Trustees is kept in one place for all to access. Board meetings with papers helps elimnate printing - which is great!

There is absolutely nothing I can fault this software with. Its a great software product!

I loved using Convene! One of the best things about it was its ease of use. I was able to quickly and easily plan and manage meetings and events, which saved me so much time and hassle. The platform was user-friendly and intuitive, which was a major plus.

Inconvénients

One of the things I liked least was the limited customization options. While there were some customization options available, I would have liked more control over the look and feel of the platform.

Avantages

I like the Agenda building as it is really simple but effective, the ability to write notes which you can then transport into Minutes, the review rooms for minute review, and the surveys function.

Inconvénients

The layout of the Minutes template is a bit clunky to adjust. We have had this discussion with our account manager so they are aware. I think the underlying logic makes it difficult to change but if this could be improved it would be really useful.

Avantages

Convene is intuitive and easy to navigate, the tools available make setting up meetings, storing documents and communicating with board members an easier task.

Inconvénients

Ability to view all notes left by board members in the app is sometimes difficult on the desktop version, but this is a minor issue.

It provides us with high quality physical and virtual locations, helps us with planning through an easy-to-understand interface, and has all the tools we need to manage events. We are able to analyze, improve and make better decisions because all members can examine, score and interact. Their event performance and monitoring tools also help.

Inconvénients

By requesting budgets for their meetings and events, small and medium-sized organizations can find what certain are prohibitively expensive.

Avantages

Convene is simple to use. I like that it's a secure way to send papers and access can be restricted for individuals. Everything is well-organised and thought of.

Inconvénients

Convene would be better if the action log was better integrated into the meeting pack - i.e. if the the action log could be generated as a paper which could be automatically included in the pack - and if the action details weren't lost when you bring them forward into the next meeting (currently I do not use the action log for these reasons).
If the agenda times could be broken by sub-item that would be a helpful improvement. And a few things in the admin section can be difficult to find.

It is very easy to organise meeting with the help of Convene. We are able to collaborate with each other by using Convene. Also it has secured network.

As of now I didn't find anything that I feel this is the issue or something like that.

Avantages

The functionality provided for setting out agendas, meetings and collaboration is very good especially as we use this for board members who do not have a organisational email address.
The administration of this is straight forward and keeps our systems uncompromised.

Inconvénients

Generally speaking the product is very good although the fact that you have to pay an extra fee for industry standard 2FA/MFA functionality is disconcerting.

We tend to use a paper agenda still as the electronic papers move in a linear fashion and you don't know what's coming up next until you move on to it.I would like to see a feature that countdowns the time allocated for each agenda item that you can see while moving through the papers in a particular section.

Ease of purchasing as well as usability. I had a problem in making purchases previously but with Convene am able to do it smoothly.

Price, it is very expensive to use Convene especially while used to other mediums.

The document management and collaboration tools have been extremely helpful to our leadership team in promoting informed discussions and accelerating decision-making. The first and most crucial function is offering great security so that papers can be shared and stored. It also offers distant attendees in management meetings a better connected experience with the option to follow along with presentations in real-time. Additionally, setting up a resource folder for adding pertinent papers is really simple. Instead than scouring hard drives for documents when the board needs to consult them, they can just access the resource folder.

As of right now, I haven't noticed any negative aspects; it's been working perfectly for me.

Avantages

Great functionality, simple and intuitive to use. Convene has simplified my Board meeting preparation enormously. The ability to build an agenda, move items around (including attachments) is extremely easy and time saving. Convene's ability to export a pack of papers in a matter of minutes has saved me almost a full working day of preparation. With the onset of the pandemic, Convene was used for lots of different meetings, purely because of its functionality and speed of use.

Inconvénients

I have encountered a couple of issues regarding the uploading of Excel spreadsheets and password protected documents. The former has mainly been resolved by ensuring a pdf of the document is prepared and uploaded. I have not found a resolution to uploading password protected documents, so simply print a hard copy and scan in.

I like how easy it is to use. It makes life a lot easier, provides audit trails and assists me in my role.

To be honest, there is nothing I don't like.

Avantages

Easy to use, costs are great in comparison to other software we were looking at, made a big difference in how we work especially during the covid-19 crisis where sending paper out would have been difficult via post.

Inconvénients

Not many areas would be good to be able to annotate onto the agenda items.

Very easy to use as an administrator and user. The software is very intuitive and, despite some initial resistance to moving to paperless meetings (myself included!) I've not had any negative comments from users and some are keen to extend use within their own departments. I'm told by those who use other packages that it compares very well with other more expensive software and is very good value for money. Support from Convene has been excellent with a friendly, supportive account manager who is quick to respond to any queries and who is very good at explaining things.

Inconvénients

There isn't anything I don't like about this software. There are one or two small things which could be improved but I understand the software is constantly being refined and Convene are keen to explore suggestions.

Such features as the possibility to make notes in the document and share comments with other attendees make it very easy for the Board members to share their opinions beforehand. From the administrator’s perspective, the app makes it easier to update the meeting materials as the app notifies the users regarding the update automatically. We are also very impressed by the customer support provided by Azeus Convine.

Inconvénients

The only inconvenience we encountered while using the app is with excel files. The App automatically transforms the files into pdf file for an easier use, however if the excel file is very big and contains large amount of data on each sheet, it is a bit difficult to transform excel file into a pdf file.

As we need to export the final board pack the additional head pages are not really needed.

Avantages

To me the features where you can just drag your documents from your desktop to be uploaded is definitely the best as it helps me to save time and makes my life easier.

Inconvénients

I think maybe convene should enable someone who had just been added to the software/apps to access all the past papers or documents that has been uploaded previously.

Avantages

It is more user friendly than other software

Inconvénients

There was no video feature built-in in the initial stage which caused a bit disruption during the Covid 19 period

Avantages

Convene is easy to navigate. I learned about it when I once substituted the Corporate Secretary in the Board Meeting. The software make remote meetings possible. The staff are also very accommodating.

Inconvénients

I just hope that the voting features be more easier to learn for first time users.

Avantages

The software is very user friendly, both as an administrator and as a first time user and available on any device. I particularly like the built in video conference facility, which has been invaluable for our virtual meetings during the social restrictions. The support team are also great!

Inconvénients

It meets our needs, so I don't believe I can add anything here.

Avantages

The software has clearly set out sections, is easy and intuitive to use, has very informative user guides and excellent customer support.

Inconvénients

This software doesn't do as much as as some of the other similar products out there. But it does enough (and in some cases more) that we need.
