Absolutely nothing and I'm stuck using it because it was purchased before I started.

Everything takes TEN TIMES LONGER TO COMPLETE ANYTHING with Active Campaign than any other marketing automation/email system I have ever used in my 20 year career.

Non-intuitive, difficulty formatting, you are constantly searching for how to do things, and my favorite - just doesn't save what you are working on, meaning you have to re-do things ALL THE TIME. This is a constant battle.

It looks pretty dated and it's laggy at times. Also, sometimes a scheduled campaign doesn't work or gets stuck and you don't get an error or message about it.

Las posibilidades que tienen sus automatizaciones son espectaculares, pues va más allá de crear el típico flujo. En mi caso, las utilizo mucho para crear informes personalizados junto con los campos personalizados. Incluso he podido crear flujos automáticos para clasificar el compromiso de los suscriptores y darlos de baja de manera sencilla a aquellos que están menos comprometidos.

Inconvénients

El precio, sobre todo porque hace apenas unos meses han agregado un precio por cantidad de envíos, cosa que antes no estaba, eran ilimitados y ahora no lo es. Eso para mi opinión es una contra porque era una característica competitiva para AC en el mercado. Ojalá eso lo vuelvan a revisar. En mi caso mucho no me afecta pues mis bases de datos son pequeñas y no realizamos email marketing diario... Pero en cuanto la base comience a crecer nos lo deberemos replantear.

I liked having the CRM and email marketing automations all within one solution. This made it easier to track leads as well as provide multiple follow-up emails with interested contacts.

The fragility of the online forms led to a broken automation that was hidden from us for 6 months and cost us $10,000's in lost revenue. We utilized AC's online web form to collect contact information (highest quality leads), but when we made a small wording change to one of the form options, this broke the automation entired and we ceased getting any leads from this channel. When we contacted Customer Support, they told us it was working as expected, yet there was no warning from the system indicating that we were at risk of breaking an automation, nor did their user guide provide any such information either.

As mentioned, you might have to struggle for deep, manual integration if you have specific ecommerce needs (i.e. subscription products whose membership status needs to trigger actions in the automations) but a part from that their approach is still the best on the market for that, you even have an automation map to keep track of how automations connect to each other.

Right now definitely a) the cost: there is a lot of fresher solutions that come for a fraction of AC's licence cost and perform as much as good, if you are willing to close an eye on usability and some specific features. b) data export: AC tries to discourage your migration to other platforms. I.e.: if you want to export all your contacts with the information of the lists they are in, you will have to export each list separately. Also, you can't export ecommerce data together with the contacts, you will need to resync your new platform with your ecommere

ActiveCampaign ist mein zweites E-Mail Tool, was ich für mich nutze, um überhaupt mal in das Thema E-Mailmarketing einzutauchen. Ich finde die Oberfläche von ActiveCampaign doch sehr übersichtlich und intuitiv bedienbar. Hat man mal ein Problem, wird einem beim Support zeitnah weitergeholfen. Da ActiveCampaign ein amerikanisches Unternehmen ist und sie mittlerweile die deutsche Sprache beim Support anbieten, kann auch das Problem besser geklärt werden. Was ich cool finde, wenn man mal nicht weiterweiß schickt dir der Support z. B. ein aufgenommenes Video wie etwas funktioniert. Also alles meist noch sehr individuell und wird super auf einen eingegangen beim Support.

Inconvénients

Sobald du größere Automationen planst und diese in die Tiefe gehen und du aus Versehen ein Fehler machst, wird es unübersichtlich. Da suchst du dir dann einen Wolf, was du falsch gemacht haben könntest.

Was ich auch sehr schade finde, das ActiveCampaign keine individuelle Austragungsseite hat wie KlickTipp. Da wird noch mal Potenzial verschenkt.

Ich mag, dass ich Elemente für später speichern kann und dass der Support super schnell und kompetent reagiert hat als ich einen Fehler/ Bug hatte. Ich mag, dass ich für Automatisierungen einen Import machen konnte und von meinem Coach eine perfekte Automatisierung in drei Klicks einspielen konnte. Das hat viel Arbeit gespart. Die Integrationen in andere Software wie z.B. Elopage ist ein tolles Feature.

Das Preismodell. Es ist recht teuer für mich, aber es bietet sehr viel für den Preis.
Die Übersetzungen auf Deutsch sind manchmal schwierig. Im Bereich der Automatisierungen sind sie teilweise nicht logisch, weswegen ich einen Fehler in der Automatisierung hatte.
Ich mag nicht, dass der E-Mail Code für die 2 Faktor Authentifizierung oft nicht oder sehr spät ankommt.

-The segments and tag functions make it easy to split up a list of contacts into different categories and send out more personalised emails
-Activecampaign seem to keep releasing new promising features, which is great to see
-The tracking of clicks, click-throughs, privacy clicks etc.. works very well and is useful to track data of emails sent

1. I wish that you could A/B test (or split test, as they call it) an email for time sent, but when I change one of the emails schedule it automatically changes the other so I cannot A/B test for time sent
2.Some parts of the software can be hard to use, but this isn't a huge con as once you spend some time getting to grips with it it's OK
