the first task made easier is downloading the data files from the slot accounting system, this was CasinoTrac, and taking the TEXT file and importing the file into Accountbility for W2G. I saw which W2Gs which needed review and the system allowed to view the troublemakers W2G.

Inconvénients

Just in general, I dislike tax filings, but after the download, exporting the completed files into a tanad receiving the acceptance notice from EFTPS, I know the job was complete.

I have never had a company with such knowledge and technical support team so thoughtful. Even in the busiest time of the year, the young men gave me all the time I needed to assist me and never got off of the phone until I was satisfied

Little pricey, would be nice if one version could look back at previous years instead of having to have 20 years worth installed.

When I need the help, I receive in a timely manner. Additionally, one gentleman has helped me year after year and always remembers me.

The only downside I’m aware of is when calling in and being “ added to the list “ for customer service to contact you back there is no estimated wait time, your 25th in line etc.

My only con has nothing to do with the system!! I only use it once a year so I have to re familiarize myself with it each year. But that is no fault of the system.

Easy to use. The Help function has made it very easy to setup for our 1099 needs.

I wish that it would remember the information associated with an EIN # and auto fill. I may have a customer with 2-5 form 1099S in a given year but I have to put the name address in each time. I should be able to put in the EIN # and the name, address auto fill after putting in the first one.

Ease of use, [sensitive content hidden] is great to work with. They have excellent customer service, and they work with you for all steps to file electronically and print the W2's. It was an awesome experience for a complicated project to setup.

Cost, of course is what we least like about it. Otherwise the program itself is great! No complaints there.

If the file submission process with the control sheets could be somehow put within the software instead of through email, it would make me feel more secure about the submission.

It is helpful we can roll the prior year 1099 client information from one year to the next.

Using the IRS Fire System links is nice to have in the software. I have been the IRS Fire System after the January 31 deadline for correcting and adding 1099s.

Inconvénients

It would be a benefit if we could print out the Register listing in one location instead of clicking on each client Management file, We send the listing to the client with our 1099 letter in November.

Avantages

I have used Accountability for my Tax Compliance since 2003. I was fortunate to find it when I was a new Controller and needed a solution that I could easily implement and complete my tax forms on time. Having the print and mail service simplifies the process, I've tried mailing 3000+ forms and it took days for our administrative staff to fold, print, stamp the forms and every time there were errors made. I rely on the expertise of IDMS and it has not failed me once. I highly recommend the software and the Customer service in the past was excellent, Saturday return phone calls were critical when we were in busy season.

For our 2023 tax forms I was not informed of the mailing date of the forms.

We have been using Account Ability for over 5 years and it is very easy to use and the Customer Service Department is very knowledgeable as well as helpful if we need assistance.

I would recommend this product very highly to anyone who is doing payroll functions (W-2s , 1099s etc)
