Very Good Software bad support
Overall: we have a serious situation going on, and it seems they couldn't care less. It is jeopardizing the entire company. We had to build a task force on a Sunday to try to organize things manually to minimize all the problems caused by the system.
Avantages
It is a very complete solution for tours and activities. Once you understand how it works, it is a very good way to prepare your company for growth.
Inconvénients
We warned Rezdy many times about a problem when Brazil should get into Daylight Saving Time. The Brazilian government stated that in 2019 the DST would be postponed in 2 weeks. Sessions had wrong times and iit would not be available in Expedia for the same reason. The support team used to be very attentive to our demands, but there has been a sudden change in behavior lately. We are a big company with more than 1,000 bookings/month, and Rezdy's lack of support is compromising the entire company. Activities and transfer are booked at a certain time, but the document sent to the passengers states a different time and sometimes a different day! Clients are feeling suspicious about this change in times and dates, even if we explain that it is a system's problem. Pick up times in tours have been changed automatically and clients are getting impatient about that. We have been trying to receive and urgent answer from the support team, even calling them, but no answer. This is completely awkward, considering their previous behavior (answering promptly).
Some of our suggestions are to create sessions 1 year long (not 6 months), create a way to make multiple language versions of the same product (not having to clone many times) and create subdivisions for the product description (ITINERARY, INCLUSIONS, EXCLUSIONS, KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK ETC.)

Thank you so much for your feedback. I am sorry you had such a difficult with your daylight savings time changes. I'm sure that has been a challenge. Unfortunately, most of this was something that was out of our hands and was due to your government making those changes to their process. We had bubbled your urgent request up to our dev team but much of the issue was due to the fluctuation from the Brazilian government and we weren't able to make the adjustments to your sessions as quickly as you had requested. I do apologize for any frustration this may have caused.
As far as your other suggestions/requests, rest assured we are continuing to make changes to our system and do roll out updates often. Many of these updates are based on the suggestions of our suppliers/customers so please know your requests have been heard. Great software for tour operators
Our entire business is based on Rezdy. There is room for improvement but overall it's a solid program. The customer service was much better when it was available by phone, but I understand that may not be sustainable.
Avantages
Once you get used to it, it's very functional
Inconvénients
There is no Drop-off location, it should filter by all reservations by default on the dashboard, not able to customize texts, limited itinerary function

Rezdy Mergers Take Priority Over Functionality and Customer Service
At first good, then the problems arrived. They came from all angles, having to perform workarounds and learn how to apologize to customers in many languages. They merged with Regionado, Checkfront and others. This clearly was a mess, a mistake, and it ruined the company. It is my last year with them, and I will never return. There is supposedly an upgrade to the software program coming, but that has been the same old response for over a year now. I would never consider this company, and if you are... do yourself a favor and at least wait until the supposed new platform rolls out. I have lost so much money because clients cannot book online using the software due to glitches that Rezdy does not solve or simply sweeps under the rug. It is sad and terrible. I feel bad for the people in the customer service chat, which you can't talk to due to "protocol." I can't be the only one. This platform is like something Fred Flintstone would use: moving rocks and rubble. That's a good description of the platform, rubble. It is all that remains from what was once good.
Avantages
Initially, the platform worked and met the needs that most other software could not. Now, the platform doesn't work and does nothing near what other platforms will do.
Inconvénients
The steady decline since signing up. No upgrades, no communication, a promised new platform that never comes. A merger that was a mess. Problems and glitches everywhere that don't get solved. The program now costs you thousands in lost bookings, and nobody cares. Only chat is available, the agents act as a wall to management who are probably hiding under their desks. It was a good program that has turned absolutely awful and I would not recommend to my worst enemy or competitor. Stay clear.

Avoid Rezdy
Decent platform. Terrible customer service. Moving all business to Fareharbour or Bookeo

The booking platform has some strengths and good functionality for the business and client. That’s about it

Horrible customer service. Contacted twice over the course of 2 weeks for assistance and got zero reply. We have one active company using Rezdy and one that is no longer active. My request for support was regarding the inactive account

A very good softwork, but It needs some improvments.
It's an overall very good soft work, with very strong payment, remainder, and many more features. But it will be very nice to have an account manager in which I could inform in case of a problem.

Bad experience
In general, and after 2 months using Rexdy, I am not happy at all. It is a difficult platform to use and the customer service leaves much to be desired. When I unsubscribed and told the reason (I expressly said I was switching to BOKUN), I was told that BOKUN was more expensive and had hidden costs, which is a LIE.

API connection to many OTAs, many possibilities in terms of connection with different products and services

Abusively expensive. No intuitive interface, mediocre customer service.

Rezdy The Unreserved Chaos Chronicles......
When a single booking comes in Rezdy has been arbitrarily making every other tour we have UNAVAILABLE. Mind you with have 17 tours and multiple guides and vehicles available that day to take care of more reservations. This means I have to stop what i am doing, go to the day the single booking came in and manually open every tour listed on that day and take out the vehicles that ARE STILL AVAILABLE, save it, go back in and add the vehicles I just took out, save it again and then make sure it shows up as available for that day. And then continue on with the 16 remaining tours, with the same tedious time consuming procedure. Now to make it worse sometimes Rezdy will not even allow the available vehicles to be added back in! Meantime the stress of having to move quickly to fix this "glitch" (that's what the unhelpful multiple reps call it) makes me RACE to add back in our most popular tours knowing its SEASON and at the same time answer the guests calling in and giving them A+ attention and care, while Rezdy is sabotaging me on the back end. The peace de la resistance is the Rezdy reps that insist this is just a "glitch" and they are working on it. They refuse to escalate it to any senior management that Rome indeed is burning. After hours, literally of pleading, arguing, insisting, they FINALLY connected us with [sensitive content hidden] who again initially acted like this was no big deal. This has been an entire week of stress and loss of income for us.The other MAJOR issue is even though you add the vehicles back in, you can check later and they TAKE THEM OUT AGAIN. So anyone trying to book it says not available! I have to again go through every single day of the month May through December and readd what Rezdy once again took out! If they had anyone on their chat that even cared it would be a miracle. Try and find contact information for a corporate phone number, NO where. They say "we don't go outside of our protocol in going to senior management. Thank you Rezdy for a system that is broken and you truly do not care to help get a crippling issue fixed.They show zero compassion for a major breakdown in their system. We are actively looking at newer top rated reservation systems. This has been truly detrimental to our business. I absolutely would recommend extreme caution if you are considering Rezdy for your reservation system. This truly has been an unbelievable nightmare.

I believe it may have been great in the day, but sadly with all the advances in technology I can honestly say, not much.

With their merger they have failed tour operators that have been with them for years (we have been with them 7 years) they don't care if their "glitches" are causing a huge breakdown in the system where our third party booking systems, our affiliated travel agents, and people trying to book on our website ( which we have invested thousands of dollars and time) says no availability!!!

Google GA4 doesn't work on Rezdy
Avantages
You can share resources, so can limit the ability of customers to buy rides that share equipment
Inconvénients
Google GA4 analytics cannot track convertions originating from the Rezdy iFrame calendar, which frankly is hugely bad news. This means a few things:
1. Google thinks you're not making any sales on your website, which probably impacts your SEO quite badly
2. You cannot effectively run conversion campaigns on AdWords
3. You cannot check the alleged sales made by other advertising platforms like Facebook
4. You cannot attribute revenue to the initial source. i.e you can't determine if people first found you through advertising, organic search, social, etc
This really is extremely bad news for rezdy users. As of the 18th January 2024, I am informed by Rezdy support, they are unable to fix the issue. This is especially irritating because for the prior 3 months they kept inferring it was the fault of my Google Analytics specialists that were to blame.

We have been using Rezdy for several years and were the first to do so in our region. We find the software and the staff to be super efficient and you should be very proud of this product

The mobile application lacks functionalities comparable to the web-based software. Additionally, the calendar management accurately records bookings and their details but doesn't make availabilities clear when viewing the calendar.

Great functionality, but very expensive and customer service not productive
Great product but extremely over priced for our type of business. I estimated that our fees would increase over 700% when they changed their pricing! Just not sustainable for a small business who sees not increase in sales in the package - to us it was a basic admin resource but Rezdy had higher expectations of what their users were getting from it
Avantages
The layout of the calendar displaying availability and booking information is great. It was very easy to amend session times/duration - although sometime too easy!
Inconvénients
Rezdy do not provide a feature of User permissions so we had to have two subscriptions which stopped cross selling/selling multiple activities to one customer. It also meant that we had to have two subscriptions.
Although the Customer Service folks were always extremely pleasant, they never actually changed anything - just felt fobbed off!
Cost of the subscriptions were absolutely not good value and when they amended their charging mechanism to a percentage of booking plus customer booking fee it became extortionate! The package is developed for globe trotters - not small local business with the majority of customers visiting numerous times a year. Linking with South America or Australia looks good but produces nothing for us but that was the justification of the high fees to cover the high development costs. Really does not work for businesses like ours - we saw absolutely no increase in our sales being with Rezdy!

Too many missing features
Test thoroughly before you go with rezdy. If you find some topics which are not satisfying your demands, be prepared that you will never get it implemented. I'm rezdy customer since 2016, I know what I'm talking about. I'm still with rezdy because I have too many products in there and my staff is trained to address the shortcomings of rezdy with a bunch of workarounds.
Avantages
Rezdy is fairly easy to use, if you have products with fixed timings (e.g. tours that start at fixed times and have fixed durations). And if you only need english as language.
Inconvénients
There are many cons:
- no native multi-language support (e.g. emails can't be configured for different languages)
- rental products with open timings (means the customer can enter the start and end time) are basically unmanageable. in addition rezdy has blocked resource management for rental products, so forget it to manage your rental equipment with rezdy
- email handling is very bad: you don't see emails that where sent out (just the time stamp of sending, but not the content). You can't configure own email templates, you're stuck with the fixed set of email templates that rezdy has implemented. Say you need different emails for guided tours and for rentals, or different emails for different product status (pending, confirmed etc), rezdy does not offer a solution for this
- handling of feature requests is very very poor. They even closed the forum for feature requests some months ago, with no substitution as of now. If you send them a request as email, they let you down most of the times, saying "we don't have this feature" and "there is no ETA when it will be implemented", and to top this behavior, your ticket is always being marked as "Solved", with no chance for you as a customer to follow up on open requests. Rezdy seems to think that if they replied in an unsatisfying way to the customer the topic is "solved" ....

So Easy and User Friendly
I no longer have to go through the tedious process of getting all the relevant information from customers.

The booking system is almost faultless and stats are great

I need to be able to split a booking and move some participants to "pending" in the case of illness. This is not available at the moment

Distribution Game Changer
Prior to working with Rezdy, OTA management was a huge challenge which in turn prevented the growth we wanted. We were unable to manage more than a few resellers. Rezdy's platform has allowed us to manage our increased resellers in one platform. The result was a huge expansion of the marketplaces in which we were able to sell our tours and cruises. We have since exceeded our company sales goals and metrics.
Avantages
Wendella uses Rezdy for channel management, specifically for distribution across several online marketplaces. Merchandising our products in this manner without Rezdy would be not be possible given the scope of work it would entail. Since working with Rezdy Wendella has been able to increase our connections to Online Travel Agencies over 300%. Customer service is also fantastic. the Rezdy team is responsive and proactive.
Inconvénients
There could be some improvements in reports and analytics.

Does what it promises, most feature-rich option at this price level, easy to use
We've used a few other pieces of software, and this is the only one that had properly working inventory management and allocation. The software we switched away from has since added it, but I still feel like this is the most complete package - and I haven't found any bugs. I've looked at other software since (sales calls got me to humor product demos) but I can say this still rises above the competition

Proper working inventory controls (you can set the amount of tour guides available, or items available, and it obeys your group booking policies to avoid double-booking)
Simple, clean, bug-less checkout process.
Many 3rd party integration apps
Inconvénients
Multi-page checkout process (instead of clean single page)
Setting up discount vouchers and figuring out which discount method for the task or offer at hand can be a little confusion at first
It might take a little while to get the hang of how best to manage inventory and set up scheduled event slots, but once you understand, it's VERY easy and quick to do so.

The BEST tour booking software
We've been using Rezdy for over a year. We absolutely love it. My company would not have been able to grow into its current state without their amazing software. We've booked thousands of customers through it now and have no plans of switching. They continue to release new features that are true improvements based on product direction and customer feedback.
Pros:
- 100% uptime so far (Absolutely mission critical)
- Regular releases of new, useful features
- Quick responses from customer service
- Bugs addressed fully and properly
- Modern software technology and development methodology
- Fully featured for pretty much any tour business. We've changed our business model around about a dozen times now and there are very few things that Rezdy hasn't been able to do. Public bookings, private groups, gift cards, you name it and Rezdy probably does it.
- Mature software
- Great pricing structure
- Everything just works. We've never lost an order, never accidentally deleted anything, nothing has ever been booked for the wrong day, a payment has never gone missing. Their software has never been at fault for any of our errors.
- Mobile/responsive design interface
- Integration with other software like google analytics
Cons:
- Some features, particularly an easy way to cancel reservations + refund trips in bulk, that we need are slow to roll out. This isn't just a con for Rezdy though. As far as I'm aware, no competing software has solved this issue.
- The backend mobile interface is a bit meh at the moment. It works, but needs a lot of improvement. Note though, that their front-end mobile interface (the part where your customer books) is stellar.
- No testing or backup environments
I evaluated ALL the tour booking software (no joke. all of it) that was available in 2014 and picked Rezdy out of a big long list of them. They are leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. Since then, the only competitor that I think might come close to them might be Peek.
My background is in UX and software development. I know how software is built and how software shops are run. The majority of the booking software out there is terrible and made on old software development principles and technologies. Rezdy is very modern in both their methodology and technology.
Bottom line: Try Rezdy, you won't regret it. And feel fortunate that, in a sea of terrible tour operator software, Rezdy has created something fantastic and continues to improve it.

Avantages
Possibility to connect directly using Api integrated with most major OTAs.
Inconvénients
Some features can take long time to change or come to live.

Using Rezdy to book tours
The ability for prospective guests to be able to go the website and through Rezdy immediately determine product details and availability for a required date is a major plus. Add to this the easy and straightforward booking options for a guest make this a product of choice.
Avantages
I use Rezdy as my booking platform through my website to promote tour details and allow easy and hassle-free booking by any guests wishing to book a tour.
I have found the level of training at start-up and subsequent support to be amazing, with quick, helpful and detailed responses when initiating a query. This is backed up by a slew of videos and training sessions online that are easily found with a Google search.
Inconvénients
I am yet to find anything that I dislike about Rezdy

Brought us out of the dark ages, into the light!
Overall experience has been and continues to be fabulous. Customer support is spot on every time and always within easy reach. We LOVE using ready.
Avantages
We love the streamlined workflow which has dramatically simplified our administration for booking students as well as managing class numbers on the fly. Easily accessible interface from anywhere in the world allows us to manage our business remotely with little fuss.
Inconvénients
Marketplace, although a great concept it needs to be regulated a little bit better. Difficult to separate the genuine resellers from time wasters.
We would love a little more customisation with sales of gift cards and ability to manifest events which run over a number of weeks such as an 8 week course on a set night once a week.
